I was born on the March 5, 1984 in Belgrade, Serbia.
My first fashion experience was a show when I was about six years old. It was the first time I asked myself if the fashion was something I wanted to do in the future, along with the school. It was the time I started to talk to myself about my future. ☺
I continued to walk and pose during my pre-teen years, waiting for my 15th birthday. Around the age of 15 most girls, if they want to enter the business, could expect a modeling contract. It was the same with me. But then the bombing of my country happened, so I questioned my decision. But when it was over, my plan was rooted. Modeling was my call and my way of getting something more form myself, going somewhere else. Not long after, I left for Paris for the first time. I was 16 years old.
What happened next and how it happened, the blog, the vlog and the book will tell you if you are interested. It will tell you:
- What it’s like to walk in a Paris fashion show wearing Haute-Couture; what it is like to be in Chanel shows all around Japan, and also to shoot for magazines such as Italian Vogue, Vogue Germany, Vogue Nippon, Ell, Marie Clair, ID, etc.
- What it feels like to wear fashion brands such as: Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Ungaro, Rochas, Celine, Moschino, Dolce and Gabbana, Issey Miyake, Roberto Cavalli, Alberta Ferretti, Marc Jacobs, Oscar De La Renta, Ralph Lauren…
- How it looks and feels to be the face of campaigns for Dolce and Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Stuart Weitzman, Akris, Replay, Mac Cosmetics, and more.
- What it feels like to be the subject for photographers such as Steven Meisel, Craig McDean,Koto Bolofo, Juergen Teller, Tim Walker…
After more than 1000 shows walked during my 15-year long career, more than 10 magazine covers, hundreds of editorial pages and thousands of catalog pages, my legs are tired but my fingers are heated and the first book of my trilogy is written. Now at 31 years old, I am mostly a mother. But when my son sleeps, I read and write to relax and to enjoy myself. I pose sometimes. The job is not the same anymore, but I have changed too. And I have grown. Now I enjoy life more. So my dear readers and followers, I hope you enjoy your life and that you will enjoy reading my writings as well.
Love, Ines C.
